Project Description

SensAble was created with the goal of reducing anxiety among young adults in university. It consists of a wearable weighted blanket, a haptic device, LED lights, an app, and music. The mobile app hypothetically connects to the wearable device and enables users to access and personalize chromotherapy, deep pressure stimulation, self-select music, and haptic vibration that mimic a slow heartbeat-like vibration. SensAble is a combination of the words ‘sense’ and ‘wearable’, and the capital ‘A’ is for anxiety. ‘Sense’ refers to the project's three sensory elements: touch, sight, and sound.
