Project Description

The project combines a text adventure game hosted by the large language model GPT-4o with installations that require real-world interaction. Combined with the setting condition that the story needs to be advanced through the actions of the player in the real world, it jointly forms a story told by human and artificial intelligence from a non-anthropocentric perspective. On this basis, the use of a combination of recorded dialogues between the two in the form of weaving further emphasizes the labor (label works) and environmental resources currently relied upon by artificial intelligence in the interaction process. Taking the large language model as an example, it inspires players to think critically about artificial intelligence and the collaboration between them, exploring the ethic and critical thinking about the artificial intelligence.

BIO

YUNTING HE is an artist who specializes in exploring the possibilities of interactive art. For example, the combination of installation art and game art. She is currently studying Digital Future at OCAD university. During her studies at school, she was inspired by the novel mediums of many experimental animations, as well as innovative designs and interactive installations. Her works are often inspired by different materials and things in reality and the relationships between different species. These works are then combined with different interaction methods and animation effects. In the future, she will continue to explore the possibilities of combining different media to demonstrate the interaction between different individuals and to put into practice more design ideas and creative thoughts.
